Mahinda Rajapaksa is a well known astrologer today he always said that everything is written in the stars. He said that everything is related to astrology from the births to having a new house, looking for a new career, a new relationships, astrology plays a big parts to people who have a strong belief in divination. Astrologers can be extremely significant in mapping out people’s lives, and so their estimation is afforded a great deal of respect.

In Sri Lanka, people turned into stars to forecast on what would might the results with their presidential election. However, different astrologers have different prediction there were many who said Rajapaksa would prevail, but there were also those who said General Fonseka.

The Sunday Lankadeepa quoted the astrologer saying, “The current planetary position is similar to what we saw in 1994 when there was a change of government.”

However not all people have faith when it comes to astrology. They even detained an astrologer who forecasted bad times ahead for the President.
